HQCC 2011 Annual Meeting in Review

Old and new friends caught up to date with each other over hors de oeuvres, cocktails and soft drinks from 5:00 to 5:50.

At 5:50 Janet Lucchesi, President, called the annual meeting in session.  CLICK HERE to see the slides from Janet’s report.  Janet announced that Carrie Bandell was elected Secretary/Treasurer and Allan Kortz, M.D. was elected Board member for the western region.  Proposed bylaws revisions were approved as presented.

At 6:00 Shawn Raintree, Operations Director for the Colorado Health Insurance Exchange gave a presentation about the exchange; how it will work, who its customers will be and the activities underway to making the exchange operational.  The presentation was interactive and Shawn fielded many questions and compliments about the Exchange.

Attendees rated the meeting a 4.9 across the board on a scale of 5, with 5 being excellent.
